This image was taken by photographer richard Misrach.  Now upon first glance i didn't really like this picture, in fact i would say i hated it.  But after looking at it for a while it really began to grow on me.  The simplicity of the composition is really well done along with the pale muted colors.  It all just seems to work for some reason and i really like it.

This image is by photographer Ralph Gibson. sorry it is so small this is the image I wanted and I couldnt find it any bigger.  I just love the mystery within this image why are there hands on the boat, why do they seem like they belong to two different people, why a cannonball?  I also like the strangeness of this composition at first glance you are not sure what to think of this image it is really quite intriguing.

I chose this image by Lisette Model because 1. I am writing about her for lenticular vision class and I feel that all discussion about her and her work will be helpful to me and 2. because i just really like the look and feel of the image.  The gestures of the women, the way the shape in the back of the image connects the two figures the discomfort in the look of the woman on the left .  All of these things contribute to my attraction to this image.
