Caitlin Atkinson is the first photographer this week.  I wasn't a huge fan of her work but this image in preticular really stood out to me.  The division of space, the light, the color.  What she is trying to say is a little cliche but her images are very well done.

Francesca Woodman is a photographer who i can connect with.  She did alot of self portraits in black and white that have the same kind of movement and mystery to them.  Her message is not so straightforward and it seems like the work she did was first and foremost for her and no one else.
Keith Davis Young is a photographer who's work I am not very familiar with but alot of it has this very attractive feel to it.  For example this image is so simple but still so complex.  The subtile vignetting the figure in the dead center the horizon line all of it works perfectly.

These photos are by Peter Eckert.  I chose them because i feel that alot of my work is similar to his maybe not as much in the recent weeks but there is something that really draws me to his style.  The color, the strange light and different approach to the figure.  Everything just seems to work.

Breno Rotatori is a photographer I haven't really heard of.  I recently found his work and I loved it.  The movement of the figure against the fog and the light is very mysterious and intriguing.  I also like how the majority of the image is black and unrecognizable it is an interesting approach to the medium.

These last two photographs are by Rhyan McGinley.  Dom showed me his work and it is unlike anything i have seen.  I love every aspect of it the way he places figures and uses light as well as his use of color and composition.  They just seem original like he really ment what he was doing with these images and maybe thats why i like it so much
